Swans

While drawing these two swans, I found myself watching how gently they met in the water — how their shapes leaned toward one another until a small heart appeared between them. There was no effort in it, just a natural curve of connection.

What stayed with me wasn’t their beauty, but the feeling of compassion in their stillness. They seemed to understand something about empathy — about listening without words. In a time when the world often feels divided, that quiet exchange felt like a reminder of what we’re capable of when we soften.

I think art can do that — hold a space where gentleness still matters.

Thank you for spending a moment with this piece. I hope it brings a bit of stillness to your day.
