Graphite

Graphite has always appealed to me because of its simplicity and control. These drawings explore texture, light, detail and the quiet beauty found in everyday subjects.

Watercolour

Watercolour continues to be an exciting part of my creative practice. I’m drawn to its transparency, unpredictability and the way colour can suggest atmosphere without needing to describe everything.

Digital painting gives me the freedom to experiment with colour, texture and technique. It has been an important part of my creative journey and continues to influence the way I approach traditional media.

Illustrations

Once in a while, I like to dabble in illustration work. These pieces were done digitally. I like the creative process of line work.

Pastels

Although I no longer work in soft pastels, I thought it was a great medium to work in. There is such an amazing array of vibrant colours and I was always surprised at the end result.

Pen & Ink

Pen and ink has become one of my favourite ways to work. I’m drawn to the simplicity of black and white, the textures created through line and stippling, and the way geometric and organic forms can work together. My current Botanical Collection explores these ideas through a series of twelve original drawings.
